Accelleron has secured ClassNK Products & Solutions certification for Tekomar XPERT Engine and Emissions Desk, two digital tools within its LOREKA360° suite. The certification covers data acquisition, handling, analytics and security documentation, giving shipowners an independent assessment of systems already deployed across around 3,000 vessels.

Accelleron has received ClassNK Products & Solutions certification under the classification society’s Innovation Endorsement framework for its engine diagnostics and emissions management tools.

Tekomar XPERT Engine assesses engine performance and provides operational advice, with the software designed to work across different engine makes and sizes. Operators can use it to monitor engine operation, receive optimisation recommendations and benchmark performance between vessels and fleets.

Emissions Desk takes data from Tekomar XPERT Engine and converts it into emissions reporting and operational information. Accelleron said the system supports reporting under IMO and EU frameworks, with relevant data able to transfer directly to the ClassNK MRV Portal. The two systems are currently deployed collectively on around 3,000 vessels.

The certification is relevant to shipowners managing fuel consumption and emissions across fleets because it assesses the digital layer used to turn vessel data into operational and compliance information. ClassNK examined data acquisition, data handling, analytics and related security documentation before granting the certification.

Shailesh Shirsekar, Head of Global Operations and Sales Digital Solutions at Accelleron, said: “This certification provides valuable independent recognition of the data processing and analytical functions of Tekomar XPERT Engine and Emissions Desk. These functions are designed to support operational decisions related to fuel consumption and emissions across a wide range of vessels.”

The certification sits within Accelleron’s wider LOREKA360° suite, which also includes OptiNav AI for voyage optimisation and OptiHull for hull and propeller performance. The company presents the suite as a combined system for fleet optimisation and decarbonisation.

The issue is how reliably vessel data can support fuel efficiency decisions and emissions reporting across a fleet. With the certified systems already deployed on around 3,000 vessels, the ClassNK assessment adds an independent layer around the data and analytical functions used in that process.
